DESCRIPTION:The 2025 SelectUSA Brazil Roadshow is an investment mission organized to promote the U.S. as a destination for foreign direct investment (FDI). This program will be composed of a series of events that will connect Economic Development Organizations (EDOs) and U.S. service providers (sponsors) to potential investors in 5 different locations in Brazil. The 2025 SelectUSA Brazil Roadshow will also offer matchmaking meetings with pre-screened potential investors for EDOs. \nBrazilian FDI stats: \n\n\nBrazil is the largest source of FDI to the U.S. from South America. \n\n\nU.S. affiliates of majority Brazilian-owned firms support almost 97 thousand jobs in the U.S. – largest employer from Latin America. \n\n\nBrazilian companies operate in over 40 U.S. States and territories. \n\n\nU.S. affiliates of majority Brazilian-owned firms operate in the U.S. not only to access the local market\, but also to use the U.S. as a platform to export globally (USD 7.4 billion were exported compared to USD 1.4 billion by Mexican-owned U.S. affiliates in 2021). \n\n\nNumber of Brazilian greenfield investment announcements in the U.S. grew 220% in 2023 compared to 2022. \n\n\nTop sectors: Software & IT Services\, Financial Services\, Food & Beverages\, Business Services\, Chemicals\, and Plastics.
